The Apartments

How big are the apartments?

Junior Suites (1 and 3) are 37 m² (400 sq ft). One-bedroom apartments are 40–50 m². Two-bedroom apartments are 50–52 m². Our largest layout is 102 m² (1,095 sq ft).

Which apartments have a sea view?

Front-facing suites — 2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 14 and 16 — look directly over Douglas Bay. Suites 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 15 are rear-facing and don't have a sea view, but tend to be quieter.

What's the difference between a Junior Suite and a One/Two Bedroom Apartment?

Junior Suites are open-plan and rear-facing. The One- and Two-Bedroom Apartments have a separate bedroom (or two) and a separate living area. Two-Bedroom apartments are also front-facing.

What bed configurations are available?

Configurations vary by apartment — super king, twin, double or sofa beds. Just let us know what you'd like when booking and we'll set it up before you arrive.

What's the maximum occupancy?

Maximum occupancy is 4 guests per apartment, in line with fire regulations.

Can I book a specific apartment number?

Yes — call, email, or note your preference when booking. We'll confirm subject to availability.

In your apartment

Are the kitchens fully equipped?

Yes — to the Visit Britain self-catering specification. Hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, plus the cookware and crockery you'd expect.

Are irons, hairdryers and toiletries provided?

All apartments have an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and toiletries.

Do you provide baby cots?

Yes — cots are available on request. Bedding for cots isn't included.

Are there washing machines in the apartments?

Not in the apartments themselves. We offer a same-day laundry service (£24) and self-service laundry facilities (£10 per load — your first weekly load is on the house).

What can I watch on the TV?

Smart TVs in every apartment with Netflix, Now TV (including Sky Sports and Sky Movies) and Amazon Prime.

Arriving and leaving

Can I check in early?

Standard check-in is 15:00, but we'll happily store bags before then if you want to drop them off.

Why do you ask for arrival time?

Our reception is virtual — knowing when you're arriving lets us send door codes and the welcome letter at the right time.

What if I'm running late?

Call the duty manager on +44 (0) 1624 626125. The number diverts to a mobile out of hours.

What's the checkout procedure?

There isn't one. Close the door behind you and leave. Standard checkout is 11:00; late departures are easy to arrange.

Can I pay in cash?

Yes — please coordinate with reception in advance so we know to be on hand.

How do door codes work?

We don't use physical keys. Codes are emailed to you ahead of arrival and printed on the welcome letter. Codes change regularly.

Food, gym and services

Is breakfast included?

A welcome pack is provided in your apartment. Restaurant breakfasts at Coast can be charged to your room.

What's in the welcome pack?

Tea, instant coffee, sugar, filter coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam and a selection of cereals.

Is the welcome pack replenished during my stay?

It's provided on arrival. Additional items are available on request.

Can I get groceries delivered?

Yes — Tesco and Robinsons home delivery are both accepted. Bear in mind kitchen storage when ordering. We're also happy to shop ahead of your arrival.

Do you have a gym?

Yes — a fully-functional cardio gym with treadmills, bikes and weights. Open 24/7 to all guests.

How often is housekeeping?

Every three days as standard, with a linen change after seven nights. More frequent service is available on request.
